Mission Statement:
To provide Physical, Emotional and Educational support to orphan
children.
Helping Orphan’s
from Nepal and Tibet:
The Foundation is creating Orphanages in the midst
of the beautiful Himalayas, the largest mountain range
on the Planet. The first project has been launched in Kathmandu,
Nepal, and is designed to serve both Nepalese orphans and
Tibetan orphans in exile. Nepal borders Tibet, China and
India and is one of the poorest countries in the world.
According to CWIN, an organization working to highlight
the problem of child labor in Nepal, there are approximately
20,000 orphans as a result of the recent Maoist war. There
are 80,000 children working in child labor and 25,000 to
30,000 children who are war victims and have lost at least
one of their parents over the past few years. The future
of an orphan child in Nepal looks bleak. Orphanages are
overcrowded and in very poor condition. Orphaned children
roam the streets scavenging for food and there is no adequate
Government system in place to offer solutions.
A dollar goes a long
way in Nepal; please support our mission to light the
orphan’s path.
